As an industrial designer in my previous life, I frequently heard about design legends such as Dieter Rams (responsible for Braun’s designs in the 50s and 60s) and the new breed of young guns like Jonathan Ive of Apple. It wasn’t until recently, however until I realized the incredible similarities in the products from Braun and Apple.
