Townhall.com is a well-known conservative political website with more than 1.2 million visitors per month. We were commissioned to translate their strong web presence into a successful publication in just four months. The design needed to celebrate and encourage participation from the readership and be visually representative of the target demographic.


First Look Feature

The First Look feature was designed to showcase vivid photography from the top news stories. A dramatic, two-panel opening spread allows for the photography to shine.


Department Designs

In order to successfully translate the online presence of Townhall to print, it was essential to first understand the target demographic. The creative direction for the magazine launch captured its true potential by showing conceptualized departments like the “Presidential Breakdown” and even a page reviewing the latest gadgets.
